Job summary

PistonPay, a payments company, is hiring an Account Representative to own outbound across the contractor network, building pipeline and relationships beyond any single gas station. You’ll prospect into accounts, qualify inbound interest, demo and close deals as the first conversation prospects have with PistonPay.

This builder role emphasizes relationship growth, not just one-off dials. You’ll work with Sales Leadership and Marketing, with 65k OTE and meaningful equity, plus medical insurance

Qualifications

• Desire to build a long-term career in sales.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to sustain a high-volume outbound cadence (100+ dials/day).
• Coachable, competitive, and eager to build from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Prospect across the Ground contractor network with a disciplined mix of cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach (100+ calls/day).
• Qualify inbound leads and convert conversations into booked discovery calls.
• Build network-level relationships and referral pathways.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and ICP refinement.
• Maintain Salesforce and Outreach records and optimize messaging strategies.
• Occasionally travel 2–3 days for in-market pushes and events.
