Job summary

PistonPay is hiring an Account Executive for an on-site role in Lehi, Utah. You will own and close deals across the gas station network, from discovery to contract, collaborating with founders, SDRs, and marketing to build and close pipeline.

You will run a high-volume outbound cadence (100+ calls/day), develop network relationships, and help refine campaigns and ICPs. Occasional travel is required as we scale the business.

• A genuine desire to build a long‑term career in sales. This is a launchpad role, not a stopgap.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive on a high-volume outbound cadence (100+ dials/day) and work cross‑functionally with marketing, SDRs, and leadership.
• Coachable, competitive, and energized by building something from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle across gas station network prospects, from discovery call and demo through negotiation and close.
• Run a high-volume, high-quality outbound motion alongside your SDRs, including direct prospecting when needed (100+ calls per day).
• Build network-level relationships across the OTR carrier community that generate referrals and expansion opportunities over time.
• Partner with marketing on campaign development, messaging testing, and ongoing refinement of the OTR network ideal customer profile.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Salesforce and Outreach, and bring a clear point of view on what's working and what isn't.
• Travel occasionally (2-3 day) to support in-market pushes and events.
