Job summary

PistonPay, a rapidly growing payments company, is hiring an Account Executive to own and close deals with over-the-road trucking fleets. You'll manage opportunities from demo to signed contract, collaborating with founders, SDRs, and marketing to sharpen our pitch and scale our OTR sales motion.

Based in Lehi, Utah, this full-time on-site role requires high-volume outbound activity (100+ calls/day), frequent collaboration with marketing, and occasional travel to support market pushes.

Qualifications

• Experience closing deals (D2D, SDR-to-AE, SMB, or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with SDRs, marketing, and leadership.
• Coachable, competitive, and energized by building something from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for OTR fleet prospects, from discovery call and demo through negotiation and close.
• Run a high-volume outbound motion alongside SDRs, including direct prospecting (100+ calls per day).
• Build relationships with long-haul carriers and owner-operators to generate referrals and expansion opportunities.
• Partner with marketing on campaigns, messaging, and refining the ICP for the OTR segment.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and Outreach and share insights on what's working.
