Job summary

Applied Business Communications (ABcom) seeks Account Executives to drive new business development across the U.S. focusing on data centre, security, and wireless infrastructure.

You will market consulting, engineering design, and labor/services to new and existing clients, aiming to grow ABcom's market share and profitability. Responsibilities include prospecting, networking, solution selling, and closing while collaborating with operations to ensure client satisfaction and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have proven sales achievement in technology (computers, software, broadband, mobility, wireless, infrastructure, data centres).
• Strong business and financial acumen with analytical and numeric ability; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and existing accounts within geographic region through prospecting, networking, solution selling and closing.
• Achieve dominant market share and exceed revenue and gross margin quotas.
• Establish and maintain customer and vendor relationships.
• Develop business plans detailing activities to drive quotas, forecasting and pipeline management.
• Create proposals and RFP responses addressing key business issues and targets.
• Network with solution partners and professionals to maximize revenue and new business.
• Leverage web tools to communicate with customers and prospects.
• Maintain knowledge by attending educational workshops and professional publications.
