Job summary

WXII, the NBC affiliate, part of Hearst Television, Inc., in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks an Account Executive to sell advertising across TV and digital platforms. You will prospect new businesses, present proposals, and negotiate rates to grow local revenue.

In-person attendance is required. You will report to the Local Sales Manager and work with a talented team, leveraging powerful multi-platform marketing solutions to retain and grow client partnerships.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in media or digital sales or similar field.
• Experience developing new/non-traditional business.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Consultative, customer-focused selling approach.
• Accountability within a goal-driven organization.
• Team player mindset.
• Experience selling to business owners.
• Ability to use qualitative research to drive sales.
• Military experience will be considered.
• In-person attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce revenue across all available platforms.
• Prospect, contact and present to new businesses.
• Develop new revenue through local business development.
