WXII, the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks an Account Executive to drive advertising sales across TV and web. You will prospect, present to local businesses, and build partnerships to grow revenue while collaborating with a talented sales team.

Responsibilities include creating sales proposals, meeting individual targets, and leveraging qualitative research to enhance client outcomes. In-person attendance is required and you will report to the Local Sales Manager.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in media or digital sales, or similar sales field.
• Experience with development of new business/non-traditional business.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Experience in a consultative customer-focused business atmosphere.
• Accountability within a goal-structured organization.
• Must be a team player.
• Experience selling to business owners.
• Understand and use qualitative research to further sales effort.

Responsabilités

• Produce revenue across all available platforms.
• Prospect, contact and present to new businesses.
• Develop new revenue through local business development.
• Form strategic and market partnerships.
• Manage an active account/client list.
• Create and deliver sales proposals aligned with station strategies.
• Achieve individual sales goals while contributing to WXII's dynamic sales team.
