Field-based Account Executive II responsible for driving sales of FMI’s cancer diagnostics products within assigned territory. Objectives include meeting/exceeding sales quotas, growing customer base, and strengthening relationships with oncologists and cancer care providers. The role involves educating clients on product and reimbursement details, conducting impactful sales presentations, negotiating agreements, and tracking sales metrics.
Developing business plans, navigating customer stakeholders, leveraging data analytics for opportunities, and engaging in strategic account management.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 6+ years in diagnostics or life sciences sales targeting hospital and physician labs, with proven results.
8+ years, oncology/molecular diagnostic experience, CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce), and success in oncology product sales.
Focus on molecular diagnostics and oncology, with extensive territory travel (~90%).
Collaboration occurs across customer stakeholders (oncologists, pathologists, urologists, administrators) and internal teams (Strategic Account Managers).
Strong consultative, negotiation, and data analysis skills, along with knowledge of HIPAA and patient data privacy.
Located primarily remote, with travel within a 50-mile radius of workload centers.
