Job summary

Shentel is seeking an Account Executive I to grow Glo Fiber's business customer base in designated markets. This field-based role focuses on building relationships with local SMBs, developing opportunities, and earning performance-based income through base salary plus commissions.

You will prospect, qualify needs with a consultative approach, and present Glo Fiber solutions to business owners and decision-makers.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years selling business to business within the telecom industry.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for, develop, and maintain relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Utilize cold calling, networking, referrals, community engagement, and other prospecting strategies to generate new business.
• Through a consultative sales approach, understand customer needs and recommend Glo Fiber solutions to help businesses stay connected and competitive.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and close opportunities.
