Job summary

Hearst Connecticut Media Group is seeking a digitally savvy Account Executive to develop and manage a local advertising sales pipeline across Connecticut, leveraging our AI tools to optimize prospecting, presentations and closing deals.

You will partner with local advertisers to tailor digital and print solutions, with training and ongoing support, while enjoying a hybrid work schedule and uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Advertising, Marketing, or Communications or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of B2B outside sales in advertising or media with a proven track record.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive success with AI-powered tools to enhance the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Lead generation: call on local SMBs and build a local pipeline with support from the account management team.
• Develop product expertise in digital and print offerings and participate in ongoing training.
• Execute sales tactics and deliver compelling presentations to retain and grow revenue.
• Recommend new products and opportunities to clients and manage objections effectively.
• Forecast: manage client pipeline and monthly revenue forecast in Salesforce.
