Hearst Corporation's Hearst Newspapers division is seeking an Account Executive in the Huron Daily Tribune area to develop and manage a sales pipeline for local advertisers, promoting digital and print advertising solutions across multiple channels. The role requires onsite work Monday through Friday and a strong track record in new business acquisition.

You will be trained in both global and local products, with ongoing support from a dedicated account management team to help you close deals

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B outside sales in advertising or media.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Tech savvy with Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Goal-oriented, competitive, and forward-thinking with strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Drive Success with Innovative Tools: Use AI-powered tools to enhance the sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Lead Generation: Call on local SMEs to demonstrate digital media products and own the sales cycle with support from the account team.
• Product Expertise: Become an expert on digital and print products; complete training during the first weeks.
• Execute Sales Tactics: Deliver effective presentations and strategies to earn and grow revenue.
• Advertising Solutions: Create engaging solutions to meet clients' business needs.
• Client Solutions: Recommend products and opportunities and manage objections to boost client business.
• Forecasting: Manage client pipeline and monthly revenue forecast in Salesforce.
