Job summary

Midland Reporter-Telegram is seeking a digitally savvy Account Executive to build and manage a sales pipeline, acquiring new local advertisers in the Midland area and promoting dynamic digital and print advertising solutions.

You’ll work with the advertising team, be supported by AI-powered tools, receive comprehensive training, and benefit from a base salary with uncapped commissions as you drive revenue and client success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B outside sales in advertising or media, with proven success in new business acquisition and exceeding revenue goals.
• Superior presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills. Technically savvy with experience in Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a sales pipeline and build new business relationships with local advertisers in the Midland area.
• Lead generation: call on local businesses to promote our digital and print advertising products and own the sales cycle.
• Present tailored advertising solutions and close deals through effective sales presentations and objection handling.
• Forecast revenue and manage client pipeline in Salesforce.
