Job description

Job Title: Account Growth Executive (Contract)

Type: Freelance, 40 hrs/week

Start: Targeting May 19, 2025

Length: 6-month contract, with potential to extend

Location: Remote (must work Central Time hours)

Compensation: Up to $33/hr + monthly bonus potential

A leading global cloud platform is seeking an Account Growth Executive to identify and activate expansion opportunities across existing accounts — mapping, prospecting, and driving qualified pipeline with speed and strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive outbound outreach across dormant or unmanaged clients — cold calls, emails, follow-up sequences
  • Spot value gaps and turn them into qualified expansion opportunities
  • Run thoughtful discovery conversations that lead to real pipeline
  • Support handoffs to Account Managers, ensuring clean transitions
  • Log everything in Salesforce with precision (this matters)
  • Work closely with account teams to align outreach to broader strategy
  • Stay organized, stay sharp, and hit targets

Must-Haves (Don’t Apply Without These)

  • 1+ years in SaaS sales or SDR/BDR-style pipeline generation
  • Experience building outbound sequences that drive actual results
  • Clear communicator — verbal and written — who can speak to value
  • Strong rejection tolerance and ability to maintain momentum
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and dependable — no babysitting required
  • Must be available during Central Time Zone hours
  • Strong internet connectivity for Zoom-based client interviews and workflows

You’ll Stand Out If You…

  • Have built pipeline from dormant or low-touch books of business
  • Are certified in a formal sales methodology (Winning by Design, etc.)
  • Know how to use Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Nav
  • Have experience in expansion sales or growing existing accounts

This is a 40-hour/week, 6-month contract with potential for extension based on performance and business needs — not guaranteed.
