Account Director - Corporate Sales

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Director - Corporate Sales to drive new business and strategic account growth within the corporate travel and mobility market. This is a senior individual-contributor sales role focused on identifying prospects, developing executive-level relationships, building partnerships, and closing complex B2B opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience selling into managed corporate travel programs, enterprise organizations, travel technology, transportation, mobility, or related industries, with a strong understanding of how companies manage business travel, employee mobility, travel policies, procurement, and traveler needs.
Experience working with or selling alongside major Travel Management Companies (TMCs), travel technology providers, mobility companies, or enterprise travel organizations is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise accounts, focusing on high-value corporate opportunities.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, account research, stakeholder mapping, solution development, proposals, negotiations, contracting, and closing.
- Build relationships with travel managers, corporate travel buyers, procurement leaders, mobility teams, HR, office leadership, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to integrate transportation and mobility solutions into corporate travel programs, employee mobility initiatives, commuter benefits, travel policies, and preferred supplier programs.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with TMCs, travel advisors, and other corporate travel ecosystem partners to increase distribution, adoption, and market reach.
- Use knowledge of corporate travel processes, booking behavior, approval workflows, traveler expectations, and policy requirements to create scalable commercial solutions.
- Monitor business travel and mobility trends, including traveler experience, sustainability, blended travel, duty of care, and travel technology adoption, and convert market developments into sales opportunities.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, corporate travel events, trade associations, and strategic networking forums.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, operations, partnerships, and senior leadership to strengthen go-to-market initiatives and grow strategic accounts.
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting while consistently working toward revenue and customer growth objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 10-15+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within corporate travel, managed travel, travel technology, mobility, transportation, hospitality, or related industries.
- Proven success selling to SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customers through complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
- Strong understanding and experience working with Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and managed corporate travel programs.
- In-depth knowledge of business travel, including travel policies, booking channels, approval processes, traveler requirements, supplier sourcing, duty of care, and corporate travel economics.
- Familiarity with corporate travel distribution models, travel technology platforms, and evolving corporate buyer expectations.
- Established relationships within the corporate travel, mobility, or enterprise business ecosystem strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to open new accounts, create strategic partnerships, influence senior stakeholders, and close consultative/complex deals.
- Excellent executive presence, communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the ability to operate independently in a field-based, highly visible sales environment.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Strong understanding of the Florida business market preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Candidates with experience within or alongside organizations such as American Express Global Business Travel, BCD Travel, CWT, Navan, or comparable corporate travel management, travel technology, enterprise mobility, transportation, or hospitality organizations may be particularly well suited.
