Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an experienced Account Coordinator to help lead our Billing Office and take ownership of revenue cycle performance across an assigned state or regions. The Account Coordinator will operate as the leader of a regional billing pod and oversee the team responsible for Nursing Home Billing, Private Insurance/Medicaid, QA/Documentation, and CMNs (Certificate of Medical Necessity). The Account Coordinator owns the performance of their assigned State/Region.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and manage a regional Billing Office teamBecome the billing and reimbursement expert for your assigned state/regionManage Nursing Home Billing, Private Insurance/Medicaid, QA, and CMN workflowsDrive third-party billing performanceMonitor revenue, adjustments, AR, aging, documentation, and billing accuracyEstablish employee productivity and quality expectationsCoach, train, and performance manage team membersIdentify backlogs and problems before they impact customers or month-endBuild relationships direct with nursing home customersEnsure customer concerns receive timely response and final resolutionPartner closely with Sales and OperationsReview high-risk accounts and invoicesIdentify residents who may qualify for third-party reimbursement and ensure the team actively works those opportunitiesCreate structure, accountability, and measurable improvement within your assigned regionWho We're Looking For:Were looking for someone who doesn't simply process work, you manage it.You should be comfortable asking:Are we getting the work done?Are we billing correctly?Are we maximizing 3rd party reimbursement?Are customers receiving responses?Are employees meeting expectations?What are the backlogs?What isn't working?What are we doing about it?Compensation and Benefits:$60,000-$70,000 per yearIncentives to earn an additional $5,000-$10,000/yearHealth, Dental, Vision InsuranceEmployer Paid Life InsuranceMatched 401k Eligibility on Day One of EmploymentFSA Account (Medical and/or Dependent)Pet InsuranceShort Term and Long Term DisabilityAccident, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness InsuranceVacation, sick, and paid holidaysFlexible start timesKey Qualifications:Medical billing or healthcare revenue experienceDME/HME experience strongly preferredMedicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurance knowledgeLeadership, supervisory, or team-lead experienceExperience managing KPI's and employee performanceNursing home or skilled nursing experience is a plusBrightree experience preferredNorthwest Respiratory Services serves customers across multiple states and thousands of patients.
