Job summary

Northwest Respiratory Services, LLC seeks an experienced Private Pay Collections Manager to join our Eagan, MN office. You will manage AR across aging categories, perform proactive collection calls to patients and families, and ensure accurate invoicing with payors.

You will leverage medical terminology knowledge and strong communication to resolve discrepancies, working within daily dashboards and performance targets.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of collections experience in the medical/DME field.
• Familiar with medical insurance terminology and billing.
• Strong written and verbal communication with patients, families, and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Review reports, dashboards, and aging queues daily.
• Manage AR for private pay accounts across aging buckets (current, 30/60/90+ days).
• Make collection calls to patients and families within 24 hours or per policy.
• Identify responsible party, verify insurance, and correct invoices as needed.
• Work aged receivables and investigate billing discrepancies.
• Meet individual and departmental goals.
• Utilize Brightree software for collection activities.

Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen & respiratory products throughout the Midwest & Northern Rockies. Working from our Eagan, MN office, we are currently in search of a seasoned Private Pay Collections Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work assigned reports, dashboards, and aging queues daily
• Manage AR of private pay accounts across all aging buckets (current, 30/60/90+ days)
• Within 24 hours (or otherwise timely manner):
• Make collection calls to patients and/or their families
• Respond to collection calls from patients and/or their families
• Identify correct responsible party, insurance and make corrections to invoices
• Work aged receivables
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
• Meet individual and departmental goals
• Utilize Brightree software

Qualifications: Key Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of collections experience, preferably in DME/HME or medical
• Well versed in medical insurance and terminology
• Great communication skills written and verbal, contacting insurance carriers, facilities, patients, etc.
• Work individual feedback sessions, staff meetings, and annual training and/or competency tests
