Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Accommodations Scheduling Coordinator to support operationally the implementation of testing accommodations for clients and candidates. The role involves coordinating with clients, candidates, vendors, and test centers to ensure all approved accommodations are executed correctly.

You will manage scheduling, communicate exam details, and ensure equipment/software readiness for test days, while advocating for candidates and adhering to ADA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• 2+ years in a customer service position
• Strong professional communication and time management skills as well as excellent attention to detail
• Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential material
• Proficiency in MS Office

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients, candidates, and internal teams to ensure exceptional service
• Execute requests for accommodations following client guidelines, meeting 1 business day KPI
• Coordinate with service providers to schedule readers, recorders, interpreters, and translators per client requirements
• Ensure equipment, software, and exam content are prepared and shipped to test centers for exam day
• Communicate exam appointment details to Pearson VUE or other testing locations to ensure site readiness
• Be a subject matter expert on test center capacity guidelines to support KPI goals
• Support Helpdesk lines for Accommodation Scheduling via the Contact Center and Channel staff
• Serve as primary client contact for accommodation scheduling and implementation inquiries
• Manage accommodation approval data securely and timely; escalate non-standard requests to Accommodation Review team
• Overtime may be required based on business needs
