Job summary

SourceAmerica is seeking Accessibility Interns to support the AbilityOne Programs by remediating PDFs, PowerPoints, and Word documents to improve accessibility. Interns will create accessible samples for portfolios and learn accessibility software such as Colour Contrast Analyzer and Commonlook PDF.

The role includes template creation and collaboration across a large national organization. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement (office 2–3 days/week) with remote flexibility, and a salary

Qualifications

• Must have completed the LaunchIT (Information Technology) program course.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review and remediate PDFs and other documents for barriers to usability and accessibility.
• Assist with the creation of internal and external document templates.
• Open to learning document accessibility software such as Colour Contrast Analyzer and Commonlook PDF.
• Actively participate in SourceAmerica’s Everyday Performance Management program.
• Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
