Job summary

SourceAmerica is seeking Accessibility Interns to support the AbilityOne Programs by remediating PDFs, PowerPoints, and Word documents and creating accessible samples for portfolios.

You will review documents for usability barriers, assist with internal and external templates, and learn accessibility software like Colour Contrast Analyzer and Commonlook PDF. This hybrid/remote role encourages collaboration across a 400+ organization.

Qualifications

• Completed the LaunchIT (Information Technology) program course.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across a 400+ person organization.

Responsibilities

• Review and remediate PDFs and other documents for accessibility.
• Assist with creation of internal and external document templates.
• Learn and apply accessibility tools such as Colour Contrast Analyzer and Commonlook PDF.
• Contribute to special accessibility projects as needed.
