Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in specialty pharma or 2+ years in an access-related role outside pharma.
• Experience in Ophthalmology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Neurology or Dermatology is a plus.
• Strong understanding of insurance and benefit design with both commercial and government payers.
• Background in Access & Reimbursement, payer account management, and Specialty Pharmacy distribution.
• Experience navigating complex authorization processes for specialty medications.
• Ability to design case-specific strategies with Patient Service Centers and hubs; coordinate with Sales and SPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead case pull-through with the Patient Service Center, Case Managers, Sales, and Specialty Pharmacies.
• Identify payer trends and alert business partners; develop tactical access plans to enable treatment start.
• Collaborate with prescribing offices, contracted Specialty Pharmacies, and Patient Service Center to move cases forward.
• Educate HCP offices on best practices to streamline authorization and improve processing times.
• Manage and communicate authorization requirements and timelines across teams.
