Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Coordination in Council Bluffs, IA. This full-time role focuses on safeguarding clients across various industries, with a strong emphasis on access-control procedures, visitor verification, and professional communication with employees and guests.

Responsibilities include monitoring entry points, screening visitors, responding to incidents, and maintaining security records.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Background check required per policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A guard card or license is preferred and may be required for some positions.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, visitor screening, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access and visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production-adjacent exterior areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with maintaining orderly vehicle, delivery, and contractor access in accordance with established site procedures.
