Job summary

Allied Universal in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Security Officer Access Systems Coordinator who will serve and safeguard clients in food and beverage locations, manage access points, verify credentials, and maintain a professional presence using computer systems.

You will monitor entry, screen deliveries, coordinate driver access, respond to incidents, and conduct patrols, contributing to a secure environment and operational efficiency in a dynamic, teamwork‑driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out access‑control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue passes, and maintain logs.
• Screen deliveries, coordinate vehicle and driver access, and communicate site entry requirements.
