Allied Universal in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Security Officer Access Systems Coordinator who will serve and safeguard clients in food and beverage locations, manage access points, verify credentials, and maintain a professional presence using computer systems.

You will monitor entry, screen deliveries, coordinate driver access, respond to incidents, and conduct patrols, contributing to a secure environment and operational efficiency in a dynamic, teamwork‑driven workplace.

Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access and log records.
• Screen incoming deliveries, coordinate vehicle and driver access, and communicate applicable site entry requirements in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
