Job summary

Allied Universal in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Security Officer - Access Control Monitor to safeguard clients across industries at a logistics and distribution site. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access, and document access activity while delivering outstanding customer service.

You'll communicate clearly with employees and visitors and use computer or tablet systems to record access events.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying IDs, checking credentials, and maintaining visitor records.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates and access points.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations for site contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
