Job summary

Allied Universal in Redlands, CA is seeking a Security Officer – Access Control responsible for guarding client sites, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and enforcing access policies at a logistics and distribution location.

You will perform routine patrols, document incidents, respond calmly to alarms, and coordinate with site contacts while providing professional customer service to visitors and employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying IDs, credentials, visitor authorizations, and vendor/driver check-in.
• Maintain accurate access-control records of visitors, contractors, deliveries, and vehicle entries and exits.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and by following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
