Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company’s WECTEC Staffing Services seeks an Access Authorization Specialist on a 6-month contract. The role offers hybrid work with 2 days/week in Madison, PA or fully remote if you live beyond 50 miles.

You’ll handle pre-employment background investigations and ensure NRC compliance under the Access Programs Manager. Responsibilities include following security procedures, gathering confidential information, reviewing qualifications for access, creating files, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college or training desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Follow established Access Authorization security procedures and state/federal guidelines.
• Interface with employees and non-employees to gather background information for investigations.
• Review site criteria to determine suitability for access authorization.
• Create or review files and request unescorted access for Westinghouse personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all access documentation.
• Maintain security of Security Organization operations and information.
