Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Svcs LLC based in Madison, WI is seeking an Access Authorization Specialist on a 6-month contract. Role supports Westinghouse with pre-employment background investigations and NRC compliance, reporting to the Access Programs Manager in a hybrid setup (2 days/week in Madison or remote if distance requires).

The position requires handling confidential information, adherence to procedures, and interaction with employees and non-employees nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college coursework or professional training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with ability to perform precise work.
• Valid state driver's license.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident required.
• Pre-employment/background investigations clearance.

Responsibilities

• Follow the established Access Authorization security procedures in addition to any state or federal guidelines.
• Interface with employees and non-employees to gather personal and confidential information for background investigations and training records.
• Review site criteria to determine suitability for access authorization.
• Create/review files and prepare documentation to request unescorted access for individuals working on Westinghouse sites or assignments.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory and company procedures and keep all access documents confidential.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of all Security Organization operations and information.
