Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services seeks an Access Authorization Specialist for a 6-month contract, reporting to the Access Programs Manager. The role combines hybrid remote/in-office work (2 days/week) with possible remote work if location is distant from the Madison, PA site.

Primary duties focus on pre-employment background investigations in line with Westinghouse policies and NRC requirements, ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance across the process.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Some college work or additional professional training.
• Experience with written and verbal communication skills, Microsoft Office.
• Experience in detailed work.
• Valid state driver's licenses.
• Pass pre-employment and regulatory background investigations.
• 3 months experience in security, human resources, administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Follow established Access Authorization security procedures and applicable guidelines.
• Interface with employees and others to gather background information and training records for access determinations.
• Review site criteria and determine qualifications for access authorization.
• Create or review files and prepare documentation to request unescorted access.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all access documents and files.
• Maintain security of all Security Organization operations and information.
