Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking an Academy Coach to lead world-class learning experiences across Walmart facilities. You will partner with leadership to develop talent, deliver instructor-led and virtual training, and use VR and Academy Connect to drive learning impact and operational results.

The role emphasizes coaching, change management, and translating classroom learning into practical performance improvements, while fostering a culture of learning and belonging across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work one weekend day a month and travel as needed.
• Experience facilitating adult learning and making complex topics understandable, engaging, and actionable.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills with ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Experience leading change management, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with Academy Connect, Virtual Reality (VR), virtual facilitation platforms, and digital training tools.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences across Walmart facilities to build associate capability and drive operational excellence.
• Facilitating instructor-led, virtual, and immersive learning experiences via Academy Connect, VR, and emerging technologies.
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing associates and leaders through feedback, recognition, and growth-focused development opportunities.
• Partnering with facility leaders to identify development opportunities and support succession planning efforts.
• Ensuring classroom learning translates to on-the-job performance and reporting findings to leadership.
