Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Fernley, NV is seeking an Academy Coach to deliver engaging training that builds associate capability and drives operational excellence across Walmart facilities.

You will facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and immersive sessions, partner with facility leaders to develop talent, coach associates and leaders, and ensure classroom learning translates into on-the-job performance with measurable results.

Qualifications

• Current Walmart associate with 18 months of Walmart operations experience as a salaried member of management supervising non-exempt associates/employees.
• Successful completion of all required Walmart Academy and job-related training programs and assessments.
• Successful completion of applicable firearms-related training, certifications, and background checks when required by store location.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences that build associate capability and drive operational excellence across the business.
• Facilitating instructor-led, virtual, and immersive learning experiences through Academy Connect, Virtual Reality (VR), emerging technologies, and other innovative training modalities.
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing associates and leaders through impactful feedback, recognition, performance support, and growth-focused development opportunities.
• Supporting the successful adoption of operational changes, specialty initiatives, and business transformations through classroom facilitation, virtual learning, and hands-on coaching.
