Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Learning Services Specialist to design and deliver comprehensive training across multiple Academy locations. You will facilitate classes, mentor associates, and coordinate with regional leadership to ensure learning translates into improved store processes.

You will engage in content development, assessments, and change initiatives, leveraging in-person and virtual modalities to deliver a world-class learning experience and promote a culture of belonging.

Qualifications

• Current Walmart associate with 18 months’ experience in Walmart operations as a salaried member of management supervising non-exempt associates/employees.
• State issued Certificate of Eligibility if applying for a position in a store that sells ammunition.
• Successful completion of firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
• Associates must attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Delivers training to facility level associates through Regional leadership using in-person, Academy Connect, and VR modalities.
• Conducts facilitation audits on all Academy roles and supports content development with Learning Services.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities by hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing associates.
• Visits facilities to ensure classroom learnings translate to expected performance and reports to leadership.
• Educates associates on change initiatives and supports implementation of structure and process improvements.
