Job summary

University of New England seeks an Academic Technologies Application Administrator to support enterprise academic technology platforms that enable teaching, learning, enrollment, and student success. The role blends system administration, configuration, and vendor coordination with campus stakeholders.

The position oversees CRM platforms like Slate and Salesforce, web apps on WordPress, and learning platforms, ensuring secure access, data quality, and timely upgrades while driving technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Educational Technology, Business, or related field.
• Three years of experience administering, configuring, or supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience with Slate, Salesforce, D2L Brightspace, Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle.
• Knowledge of information security, data privacy, accessibility, and change management practices.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer CRM data structures, interfaces, and security settings.
• Build, maintain queries, reports, dashboards, and list views for admissions, marketing, and student services.
• Administer the UNE web applications environment on WordPress, including multisite configuration and plugin management.
• Coordinate sandbox/test environments, change management, and release readiness for applications.
• Monitor integrations, data flows, and third‑party connections; resolve errors and coordinate vendor support.
• Collaborate with ITS teams and academic departments to support institutional goals and technology initiatives.
