Job summary

Université of New England seeks a Systems Programmer/Analyst to configure, develop, test, and maintain enterprise systems supporting student, HR, finance, and CRM workflows.

You will design integrations, build data reports, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with ITS teams and campus partners. This role emphasizes security, data governance, and system optimization at UNE.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of enterprise systems administration, configuration, development, or support.
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner, Oracle Student, Workday Student, or equivalent.
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrations using APIs, ETL, middleware, or file exchange.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Java, Groovy, or Apex.
  • Strong relational database concepts and ability to write/optimize complex queries.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems security, access control, and governance.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, develop, test, and maintain enterprise system applications (ERP, SIS, CRM, HRIS).
  • Design and build workflows, integrations, reports, and system enhancements.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and release management with ITS teams.
  • Support user‑facing portals and system interfaces.
  • Develop integrations using APIs, middleware, and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with campus stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, reporting, and compliance with FERPA/HIPAA and policy.
