Job summary

Learner Education is hiring Academic Sales Representatives for an inbound, fully remote role. You’ll engage with families who reach out for tutoring, understand their needs, communicate value, handle objections, and guide enrollment.

The position is US-based, remote, with a base salary of 45,000–50,000 plus uncapped commission; shifts are Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu ET, and benefits include healthcare, flexible PTO, equity, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in consultative or enrollment sales.
• Proven ability to meet quotas, KPIs, or revenue targets.
• Experience handling objections and discussing pricing.
• Self-motivated with strong lead management and follow-through.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Remote-work readiness with reliable internet and home workspace.
• Preferred: experience in education or with CRM systems; bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students and families who expressed interest in tutoring services.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand academic challenges, goals, and tutoring needs.
• Recommend appropriate tutoring solutions and communicate their value.
• Discuss pricing, handle objections, and close enrollment opportunities.
• Build trust and rapport through professional phone, text, and email communication.
• Proactively follow up with prospective families and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Manage a high volume of inbound leads while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of conversations, follow-ups, and enrollment outcomes.
• Aim for enrollment, conversion, revenue, and performance goals.
• Take ownership of results, welcome coaching, and continuously improve sales performance.

We're a fast-growing, fully remote education company looking for motivated, results-driven Academic Sales Representatives to join our team. This is an inbound sales role, not a cold-calling position. Families are already reaching out to Learner for academic support. Your role is to understand their needs, communicate the value of our tutoring services, overcome objections, and confidently guide qualified families toward enrollment. We're looking for individuals who can build meaningful relationships while maintaining a strong sales mindset and consistently delivering results.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in consultative sales, inside sales, enrollment, admissions, or another phone-based sales environment
• Proven experience working toward sales quotas, KPIs, conversion goals, or revenue targets
• Experience handling objections, discussing pricing, and closing opportunities
• A proactive, self-motivated approach to managing leads and following through on commitments
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Accountability, reliability, and a willingness to receive and apply feedback
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven remote environment
• Comfortable spending a significant portion of the workday speaking with prospective families by phone
• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated, professional home workspace

Preferred but not required: Experience in education, tutoring, enrollment, or other high-volume consultative sales environments; familiarity with CRM systems; or a bachelor's degree.

Schedule

This is a full-time, remote position with a set schedule.

Available shifts:

Option 1: Tuesday-Saturday

• Tuesday-Friday: 12:00 PM-9:00 PM ET
• Saturday: 12:00 PM-7:00 PM ET

Option 2: Sunday-Thursday

• Sunday-Thursday: 12:00 PM-9:00 PM ET

Shift placement is determined based on business needs at the time of hire.
