Job summary

University of Florida seeks an Academic Program Specialist II to coordinate undergraduate professional development opportunities, internships, and study abroad programs on the Main Campus in Gainesville. You will liaison between faculty and students, communicate research opportunities, and help coordinate student outreach initiatives.

The role involves overseeing Hamilton School student organizations and collaborating with faculty advisors, UFIC partners, and campus teams to administer policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Coordinate professional development opportunities for undergraduates, including internship placement processes, and organize workshops and events.
• Liaise between faculty and students regarding research opportunities and prestigious award opportunities.
• Develop and administer study abroad programs with Hamilton faculty and UFIC, including policy development.
• Oversee Hamilton School student organizations and coordinate communications between faculty advisors and student leaders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internship placement processes for undergraduates and support semesterly programs.
• Organize professional development workshops and events each semester.
• Liaise between faculty and students regarding research opportunities and awards.
• Develop and manage study abroad programs with Hamilton faculty and UFIC.
• Oversee student organizations and coordinate with finance, events, and marketing teams.
