Job summary

Responsibilities include collaboration with COE Admissions, organizing student engagement events, supporting scholarship processes, data reporting, and staying current with FLDOE policies and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, counseling, or related field with 1 year of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s with 2 years.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with University of Florida regulations and confidentiality of student records.

Responsibilities

• Academic advising, student engagement and progression, and career planning for undergraduates. Train new advisors and support staff. Coordinate referrals and communications with campus units.
• Assist with transfer admissions, orientation, and recruitment presentations for undergraduate and teacher-preparation programs. Support COE events and student engagement activities.
• Analyze enrollment data and prepare reports; maintain databases on student records, offerings, enrollments, milestones, graduation rates, and alumni information.

Education

Master’s degree in education, counseling, or academic field related to the college and one year of relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree in similar fields with two years of relevant experience
