Job summary

American Leadership Academy is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant of Academics for the 2026-2027 school year at the Signal Butte Elementary campus. The role supports the academic department, manages schedules and documentation, and maintains confidential student records.

The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and a passion for working with students, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred for larger admin duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the academic staff and school leadership, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and handling phone calls.
• Prepare and maintain academic documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting minutes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential academic records, including student transcripts, grades, and attendance.
• Process and file academic documents, such as report cards and standardized test results.
• Coordinate class schedules, teacher assignments, and meeting arrangements.
• Assist with organizing academic events, such as parent‑teacher conferences and academic fairs.
• Serve as a point of contact for students, parents, and staff on academic inquiries.
• Facilitate communication between teachers, students, and parents on progress updates.
