Albany Medical Center's Division of Plastic Surgery invites applications for a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The role emphasizes reconstructive surgery, including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial, and hand surgery, with opportunities to expand transgender and aesthetic care.

Ideal candidates will have an MD/DO, completed plastic surgery residency, and license eligibility in New York; teaching and research involvement is encouraged.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency required.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by ABPS or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated teaching competence in both clinical and didactic settings.
• Fellowship in microvascular surgery desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide plastic surgery services with emphasis on reconstructive procedures.
• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
• Engage in clinical care, teaching, and research within a tripartite mission.
