Albany Medical Center's Division of Plastic Surgery is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to expand its clinical, educational, and research programs. The successful candidate will contribute to a growing department and participate in a robust academic environment.

The role focuses on reconstructive microsurgery including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and general reconstruction.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent).
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent recognized by ABPS.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and skill in teaching.
• Fellowship training in microvascular surgery is desirable, but not required.
