The Division of Plastic Surgery at Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The role emphasizes reconstructive surgery, teaching, and research within a collegial, academic environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent recognized by the ABPS
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure
• Demonstrated clinical competence and skill in clinical and didactic teaching
• Fellowship training in microvascular surgery is desirable, but not required

Responsibilities

• Take independent hand and face trauma call
• Engage in reconstructive microsurgery including breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and general reconstruction
• Deliver clinical care across affiliated sites including Albany Stratton VA Medical Center
• Participate in teaching and research within an integrated residency program
