The Division of Plastic Surgery at Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We're expanding our clinical, educational, and research programs and welcome candidates who are eager to contribute to this growth.

Candidates must be able to take independent hand and face trauma call. There are opportunities to shape the practice through breast reconstruction, transgender care, and VA center work, with a strong emphasis on teaching and

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board-eligible or board-certified in plastic surgery.
• Completion of an accredited plastic surgery residency.
• Eligibility for NY medical licensure.
• Demonstrated teaching competence in clinical and didactic settings.
• Fellowship in microvascular surgery is desirable but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical care and join a collaborative faculty in teaching and research.

Formation

MD or DO degree (or equivalent)

Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency

Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent recognized by the ABPS

Eligible for New York State medical licensure

Fellowship training in microvascular surgery is desirable, but not required
