Albany Medical Center's Division of Plastic Surgery is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to expand clinical, educational, and research initiatives.

The role focuses on reconstructive options including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and general reconstruction. The candidate will participate in resident education and collaborate across affiliated sites within the Albany Med system.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent) required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent recognized by the ABPS.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and skill in clinical and didactic teaching.
• Fellowship training in microvascular surgery is desirable, but not required.

Aufgaben

• Provide reconstructive surgical services including microvascular, craniofacial, hand, and general reconstruction cases.
• Teach residents and medical students within an integrated residency program.
• Engage in research and clinical education as part of a tripartite mission: clinical care, teaching, and research.
• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
