Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency using MS Word, Excel and Outlook (Required).
• Ability to prioritize job functions to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks (Required).
• Ability to compose, edit and proofread materials with proper grammar and punctuation (Required).
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (Required).
• Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with tact (Required).
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers, faculty, campus and University administration (Required).
• Demonstrated analytical skills to review detailed work for inaccuracies (Required).

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned cases and projects under close supervision.
• Understand and interpret collective bargaining agreements and the Academic Personnel Manual.
• Review and analyze dossiers for completeness and adherence to policy; update the Academic Personnel Database.
• Compile faculty academic activities, honors, teaching and research information to update dossiers.
• Maintain records of search committee decisions and participate in meetings.
• Gather information needed to carry out academic personnel policies in alignment with departmental goals.
