Job summary

Albany Medical College's Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our academic faculty. The role covers the full spectrum of EP in a collaborative academic environment.

We are growing a team of 18 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers to meet demand. The position offers a competitive base salary with incentives, relocation assistance, sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities for academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers.
