Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our academic Division of Cardiology. The successful candidate will practice the full spectrum of electrophysiology in a collaborative academic environment.

We are expanding our team of 18 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers to meet rising demand. The position includes outpatient EP clinic work, inpatient EP consultations, ablations, and device implantations, with

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities to be eligible for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.
• Leadership qualities and assets are highly valued.
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Eligible for academic appointment and medical licensure in the state of New York.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers.
