Albany Medical College's Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our expanding academic faculty. The role offers the full spectrum of EP in a collaborative academic setting.

We are a growing team of 18 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers, with Albany Medical College as a historic institution in New York's Capital Region. The position includes a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research and teaching abilities for academic appointment.
• Leadership qualities and collaborative patient care approach.
• Experience with complex ablations, lead extraction and advanced device therapy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across heart failure, interventional cardiology, surgery, and imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and APPs.
