Albany Medical College's Division of Cardiology invites an experienced Electrophysiologist to join our academic faculty as Assistant or Associate Professor. The role encompasses the full spectrum of EP, in a collaborative academic environment, with focus on patient care, teaching, and research.

Outpatient EP clinics, inpatient EP consultations, ablation procedures, and device implantations are central to the position, with opportunities to mentor fellows and residents and to collaborate with

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities to be eligible for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers.
