Job summary

Albany Medical College Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist at Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our academic team in New York's Capital Region. The role encompasses the full spectrum of EP with opportunities for clinical and teaching leadership.

The successful candidate will participate in outpatient EP clinics, inpatient EP consultations, ablations, device implantations, and collaborate across cardiology and related services.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities to be eligible for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.
• Leadership qualities and assets are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations
• Ablation procedures and device implantations
• Collaborate with faculty across advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers
