Albany Medical College in New York seeks a full-time Electrophysiologist at the assistant or associate professor level to join its academic faculty. The role covers the full spectrum of EP in a collaborative academic environment, with emphasis on education and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The Division of Cardiology is expanding with 18 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers, offering a comprehensive care setting in the Capital Region.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology.
• Academic appointment eligibility and NY medical licensure considerations.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach.
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations.
• Ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Collaborate with faculty across heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
• Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers.
