Fund for Public Health in NYC is seeking a Hub Navigator for the Abortion Access Hub in New York City. You will respond to calls and chats, assess needs, and provide referrals and warm handoffs to abortion care providers and related resources.

The role emphasizes empathetic, confidential client interactions, adherence to scripts, and collaboration with the supervisor. A health/public health background and Spanish language skills are highly valued.

Mansioni

• Respond to telephone calls and online chats requesting information or referral to abortion services.
• Complete brief scripted interviews and needs assessments.
• Identify abortion needs based on type, location, date/time, and insurance.
• Assess whether additional funding/support is needed for access to care.
• Provide warm handoff to a provider based on identified needs.
• Reinforce that abortion is safe, legal, and available in New York.
• Connect callers to providers, navigators, and financial assistance resources.
• Record information into the data system and follow scripts.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisor.
• Obtain telephone consent for warm handoffs to other organizations.
• Protect privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties to support department goals.
