Job summary

Fund for Public Health in NYC is seeking a New York Abortion Access Hub Regional Coordinator to conduct outreach and engagement with reproductive health care partners across New York State. The role focuses on building the statewide referral network and coordinating with partners on clinical and navigation protocols.

The coordinator supports partner visits, meetings, and convenings, and helps promote awareness of abortion access resources.

Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in provider or community engagement activities related to the duties described above; OR an associate’s degree from an accredited college and four years of experience in provider or community engagement activities related to the duties described above.
• Commitment to reproductive rights and justice preferred.
• Knowledge of community-based, local stakeholders in New York State outside of New York City preferred.
• Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to prospective clinical partners to introduce the services of the Hub and document their processes.
• Meet with partners every 2-3 months to coordinate and share feedback on protocols.
• Participate in virtual meetings to discuss updates and resources.
• Complete in-person visits to partners.
• Plan and implement in-person convenings for Hub partners.
• Attend internal and interagency meetings on abortion access initiatives.
• Build relationships with local organizations and educational institutions to promote the Hub across New York State.
• Assist with marketing materials and dissemination to partners and stakeholders.
